Our Chapter
The United States Institute for Theatre Technology, Inc. (USITT) connects the performing arts design and technology communities, fostering meaningful dialogue among practitioners, educators, and students. At the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, we are proud to have a USITT student chapter that provides valuable opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.
Our chapter hosts a variety of events, including master classes, movie nights, fundraisers, Tech Olympics, theatre tours, and a "Resume Doctor" workshop. We also hold monthly meetings and attend the annual USITT Conference, where students can network with industry professionals and explore the latest advancements in theatre technology. As an organization within the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, we are dedicated to supporting and enriching the student experience within the program.
